The safari starts in Arusha. After lunch, drive to Lake Manyara, a soda lake located in the Rift Valley. Lake Manyara – a jewel of Africa – is nestled in a breathtaking landscape. Surrounded by a narrow green belt of forest and towered over by the majestic escarpment of the Rift Valley, it is understandable that this graceful place represented the most beautiful thing that Ernest Hemingway had ever seen in Africa. A first exciting game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, home of the tree climbing lions. Apart from the varied landscapes such as jungle, swamp and savannah, there is also a large selection of animals such as giraffe, zebra, elephant, gazelle, hippopotamus, monkey and around 400 different species of birds.
