AFRICA SAFARI
The annual wildebeest migration through the Serengeti and Masai Mara is the largest mass movement of land mammals.
Central Serengeti
The Serengeti, together with Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Park, form Africa’s most famous game park. The illustration of acacia trees on an endless grass plain symbolizes Africa for many. As soon as you add a Masai warrior and a cattle to this, no further explanation will be necessary. The annual wildebeest migration through the Serengeti and Masai Mara is the largest land mammal movement on the planet – with more than a million animals chasing after the rain. But that is not the end of wildlife observation. Because it continues with big proud lions, elephants and giraffes in the meadows or gazelles and antelopes, to name just a few. Apart from the conventional vehicle safaris, a hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti plains is almost indispensable, but a horse safari is also possible.
